AIA/WCA Joint Continuing Education Event

Save the date (Tuesday April 18, 2017) for a day long event with 5 continuing education credits, co-hosted by AIA Huron Valley Chapter and the Washtenaw Contractors Association.

Planned sessions include topics on Smart Building Technology, Energy Modeling, and more.

Program will include lunch, and a networking session with WCA members, who will also be in attendance for the two afternoon sessions.

9:15 Registration

9:30 - 10:30 First Presentation - Green Lean and Adaptive: Designing with the Future in Mind (Kim Montague)

10:30 - 10:45 Break

10:45 - 11:45 Second Presentation - Early Design Energy Modeling (Jim Dirkes)

11:45 - 12:15 Lunch + Networking

12:15 - 1:15 Third Presentation - Practice Management and Efficiency with The Architect Keystone Alliance (Jodi Germain Tolliver)

1:15 - 2:15 Fourth Presentation - Trends In Design - Office of the Future (Lise Newman)

2:15 - 2:30 Break

2:30 - 3:30 Fifth Presentation - Smart Building Technology (tentative title, presenter TBA)

3:30 - 4:30 Networking (appetizers + cash bar)

Cost: $40 for members and $120 for non-members. The registration fees will include lunch and two drink tickets per person.

(WCA Members should sign up through WCA in order to get their member rate)
